John Young’s of Keswick commission British craftsman with their own family workshops to produce bespoke furniture of the finest quality. What could be better than a hand made piece of furniture from a British craftsman? One of the first bespoke tables to be made for John Young’s was a traditional oak farmhouse table, to this day it remains the most popular dining table with our customers.

Antique versions of these tables are now very difficult to locate and you may have to compromise, taking what you can find. The beauty of a bespoke hand made table means you can have exactly what you want.

The Cumberland Farmhouse Table is modelled on the oak farmhouse tables that have been popular for centuries. Our made to order Farmhouse Tables are all individual – you decide on the dimensions, the colour, and whether you would like extension leaves for when you have guests. As with some of the old tables the tops can be reversible, one side used every day and the other for special occasions. Maybe you are looking for a different style?
